Andrew Mozina is the author of two novels, Tandem (Tortoise Books, 2023) and Contrary Motion (Spiegel & Grau, 2016), and two short story collections: Quality Snacks (Wayne State University Press, 2014), a finalist for the Flannery O’Connor Award, and The Women Were Leaving the Men (Wayne State University Press, 2007), which won the GLCA New Writers Award. His fiction has appeared in Tin House, Southern Review, Ecotone, The Missouri Review, and elsewhere. His stories have received special citations in Best American Short Stories, Pushcart Prize, and New Stories from the Midwest. He and his wife, Lorraine Alberts, live in Kalamazoo, where he teaches literature and creative writing at Kalamazoo College.
