Hanukkah is the Jewish festival commemorating the recovery of Jerusalem and rededication of the Holy Temple during the Jewish revolt against the ancient Greeks 2200 years ago. On Saturday, December 21, the Chestertown community will come together to recognize and celebrate the coming of the eight day Festival of Lights.
