WYPR Open For Business Project

WYPR – Open for Business – Project

Greater Chestertown Initiative – Carla Massoni, Chair

November 2019

Spearheaded by Carla Massoni, chair of the Greater Chestertown Initiative, with matching funds from the SFW Foundation, the WYPR Open for Business marketing program invites local business owners to join with tourism officials and nonprofits to create a consistent year-long marketing campaign for Chestertown over the airwaves of Baltimore-based NPR station WYPR.

The collaborative’s on-air sponsor spots add to messages that several nonprofits run each year on WYPR to promote their major events, including Sultana Foundation, Tea Party Committee, and Main Street Chestertown. Main Street Chestertown is happy to contribute to and administer this exciting project to draw more visitors to our historic downtown commercial district. Thanks to the SFW Foundation for their continuing match, and to the following for pledging  $1,000 or more to the campaign.
