First Friday
The start of a new month is a fantastic excuse to get out and enjoy new art, wonderful shopping, little sips of wine here and there, and dinner out. First Friday is a free event sponsored by Chestertown's downtown merchants, community organizations, and art galleries. This event is held the first Friday of every month and everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us.
Our artists and galleries introduce new shows, our independent boutiques offer new products and specials, and our restaurants are ready to welcome you for dinner. Historic Chestertown's Arts & Entertainment District is fun year-round. In the winter our storefronts are aglow and in the spring and summer our doors are flung open and the fun spills out onto the street!
