Originally used in religious contexts, piñatas now represent fun and festivity, often associated with birthdays and Christmas celebrations like Las Posadas. Their bright colors and the act of breaking them for treats connect to themes of faith, virtue, and the sharing of blessings. Ms.Ivette will walk you through the creation of a clown piñata from start to finish. You will then have your own handcrafted piñata to use at your next celebration.
